What is it with women and spiders? Arachnophobia is defined as an uncontrollable fear of spiders, one of the most unnecessary phobias as far as I can tell. I’ve even met men who are afraid of spiders which, in my opinion should only develop in a severe case of Anuptaphobia – Fear of staying single. Forever. You Pussy. (Check thephobialist.com for a full and oh so ridiculous list of irrational fears, are there actually people like this?) Anyway, my poor mother was the test subject for my latest bad thought process which went something like:
  1. I’m bored because I’m not in Liverpool watching the match.
  2. Someone needs to suffer for this.
  3. “Maaaaaa?!”
