August 2008 - Awards at The RDS National Awarded 1st Prize in the category of Traditional Embroidery. Also awarded the Máirín O'Brien Flegg Memorial Award for Contemporary Embroidery 2008. Also nominated for the IACI Muriel Gahan Scholarship and Development Grant. A huge personal thank you to the organisers of this event not only for the fantastic prizes awarded but also for the excellent opportunity to exhibit and their constant hard work in promoting craft workers of all ages.

August 6th - 14th 2008 (Upcoming) RDS National Crafts Competition RDS Craft and Student Art Opening Exhibition at the Fáilte Ireland Dublin Horse Show, RDS Concert Hall. The Exhibition will continue for four days after the Horse Show concludes.

August 2008 Craft Council of Ireland 3rd Level Awards Winner of the CCOI Postgraduate 3rd Level Award. A big personal thank you to the staff in the CCOI and also to the interview panel for their friendly reception and valuable advice. |

6th March - 3rd May 2008 "Amharc Fhine Gall V - All In The Detail" Draíocht Arts Centre, Blanchardstown A group show developed by the Fingal Arts Office and the Draíocht Arts centre to showcase the best emerging artistic talents of County Fingal. Curated by Public Arts Co-Ordinator Caroline Cowley, the show features five Fingal based artists including Logan McLain, Tracy Hanna, Deirdre Byrne, Lorna Fitzsimons and Jennifer Phelan. |
